Been wanting to get a shot of this spot for a while so tonight I headed down there keen to get something good but withing 10mins it started to rain!! I had the chance to get about 5 or 6 20-30sec exposures before I had to bolt.
Will definitely get down there again.
Spent half a day at Southbank in Brisbane a while back. These were the first shots I got with my camera. Was with a horrible front-focusing 50mm but there were a couple keepers.

It was a pretty big day… an emotional one at that. My brother is a part of the Australian Defence Force and is heading to Afghanistan for roughly 6 months in January. As I write this, he is probably freezing his bollocks off in the middle of the desert waiting to shoot something. This will be the longest I’ve gone without seeing my brother and I’m missing him already.

Yup, I was spoilt!! Nearly 2 months ago I was given the Wacom Intuos tablet by a very cool bunch of mates for my 30th birthday! It’s a very cool toy to play with (although I have yet to give it a real run) and hopefully once I get into the groove I do a video on it. Read More
